Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 15, 2025
At fluxlywavesendhub, we take your privacy seriously. This document explains how we handle your personal information when you use our financial analysis platform.
We're based in Taiwan and follow both local regulations and international best practices. But let's be honest—privacy policies can feel like reading a phone book. We've tried to make this one actually readable.
If something doesn't make sense or you have questions, reach out to us. We'd rather clarify things now than have you wondering later.
What Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with our platform. Here's what we gather and why:
Account Information
When you create an account, we ask for basic details: your name, email address, and phone number. We also collect your business information if you're using our analysis tools for professional purposes.
This helps us personalize your experience and send you relevant updates about your analysis results.
Financial Data You Share
Our platform analyzes financial information you upload. This might include transaction records, balance sheets, or other business documents. We only process what you choose to share.
You control what gets uploaded. And yes, we encrypt everything during transmission and storage.
Usage Information
Like most websites, we track how people use our platform. This includes pages you visit, features you click, and how long you spend in different sections.
We use this to figure out what's working and what needs improvement. If everyone ignores a particular feature, that tells us something.
We don't sell your data to third parties. Period. Your financial information stays between you and us.
How We Use Your Information
There's no point collecting data if we don't do something useful with it. Here's what happens with your information:
- Platform Functionality: We use your account details to keep your profile active and secure. Basic stuff.
- Analysis Processing: The financial data you upload gets processed by our algorithms to generate insights and reports.
- Communication: We'll email you about account updates, analysis results, and occasionally new features that might interest you.
- Service Improvement: Usage patterns help us identify bugs and develop better tools.
- Security Monitoring: We watch for unusual activity that might indicate unauthorized access attempts.
We don't use your information for purposes you haven't agreed to. If we want to do something new with your data, we'll ask first.
Data Storage and Security
Your information lives on secure servers located in Taiwan. We use industry-standard encryption both for data in transit and at rest.
Technical Safeguards
Our systems use TLS encryption for all data transmission. Stored financial documents are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Access to our databases requires multi-factor authentication.
We run regular security audits and update our systems to address new vulnerabilities as they're discovered.
Access Controls
Only authorized team members can access user data, and only when necessary for support or technical maintenance. We log all access attempts for accountability.
Your financial analysis data is compartmentalized—meaning employees working on one part of the system can't access other sensitive areas.
No security system is perfect. While we implement strong safeguards, we can't guarantee absolute security. We do commit to notifying you promptly if we detect any breach affecting your information.
Your Rights Under Taiwan Law
Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act gives you specific rights regarding your information. Here's what you can do:
- Access Your Data: You can request a copy of all personal information we hold about you.
- Correct Inaccuracies: If we have wrong information, you can ask us to fix it.
- Request Deletion: You can ask us to delete your account and associated data.
- Limit Processing: You can restrict how we use certain types of your information.
- Data Portability: You can request your data in a commonly used format to transfer elsewhere.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page. We'll respond within 30 days, as required by Taiwan law.
Special Note for Taiwan Residents
Under Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to know the purpose of data collection before providing your information. That's why we explain our purposes upfront during account creation.
Data Retention
We don't keep your information forever. Here's our retention approach:
Active Accounts
While your account is active, we maintain your profile information and analysis history. This lets you access past reports and track trends over time.
Inactive Accounts
If you don't log in for 24 months, we'll send a reminder email. After 36 months of inactivity, we'll archive your account and delete non-essential data.
Deleted Accounts
When you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days. We may retain anonymized usage statistics for analytical purposes.
Some information might persist in backup systems for up to 90 days before complete deletion.
Legal Requirements
We may retain certain records longer if required by Taiwan tax laws or other regulations. Financial transaction records, for example, must be kept for five years under Taiwan tax code.
Third-Party Services
We use some external services to operate our platform. Each has access to limited information:
- Payment Processing: Our payment provider processes subscription payments but doesn't receive your financial analysis data.
- Email Service: We use an email platform to send you notifications. They see your email address and name, but not your financial documents.
- Cloud Hosting: Our hosting provider maintains the servers but doesn't have decryption keys for your data.
- Analytics Tools: We use analytics software to understand platform usage. This data is anonymized and doesn't include personal identifiers.
All third-party services we use comply with relevant data protection standards. We vet vendors carefully before integration.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies to function properly. Here's what you should know:
Essential Cookies
These are necessary for the platform to work. They remember your login status and preferences. You can't disable these and still use the service effectively.
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how people use the platform. They're optional—you can disable them in your account settings without affecting functionality.
We don't use advertising cookies or share cookie data with advertising networks. Your browsing behavior on our platform stays private.
Children's Privacy
Our platform is designed for business professionals and isn't intended for users under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors.
If you're a parent and believe your child has created an account, contact us immediately. We'll delete it promptly.
International Data Transfers
Your data is primarily stored in Taiwan. However, some of our service providers operate servers in other countries.
When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through standard contractual clauses or equivalent protection mechanisms.
If you're accessing our platform from outside Taiwan, your information may be transferred to and processed in Taiwan where our main servers are located.
Changes to This Policy
We update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
When we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email and display a notice on the platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
Continuing to use the platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with changes, you can close your account.
